Imre K. Ilyes
Imre received his B.A. from Portland State University and J.D. with honors from Brooklyn Law School in 2015. While in law school, Imre served as Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society, Notes and Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review, research assistant to Professor Aaron Twerski (an author on the Restatement (Third) of Torts: Product Liability), and judicial summer intern for the Honorable Lorna G. Schofield of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
After law school, Imre entered private practice in Los Angeles, California. His practice involved commercial litigation, focused on intellectual property and consumer contracts. Since moving back to the Pacific Northwest in 2018, Imre’s practice has included employment litigation, personal injury, and workers compensation. He has successfully litigated dozens of cases in front of the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals and a 7-day jury trial at Superior Court.
Imre’s current practice is focused on defending healthcare providers and hospitals against malpractice claims, healthcare employment liability defense, and general liability defense.
